Check Out The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World: Over 600 Secrets of the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom for $6.50

The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World: Over 600 Secrets of the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom Review

Perhaps my favorite aspect of Walt Disney World is all the little details the Imagineers have added throughout the parks to make them so special and complex. As a result, I really loved this book and carried it with me on my last trip to the World. I've read a lot of things online about hidden details in the parks, but this book introduced "secret" details to me that I'd never heard before. I really liked knowing the historical background of so many aspects of the parks in addition to the hidden details there, and although I couldn't take note of all of them this trip (the book is so detailed that one could probably make a trip or two down to the World solely to look for all the details mentioned in this book), just knowing that all this rich detail exists makes me appreciate Walt Disney World so much more. I must say I would've liked if the book could have included Downtown Disney, the water parks, and/or at least some of the resorts, as there are tons of details there that I would have liked to hear about, but I understand why the book was just limited to the four main theme parks.

Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who appreciates Walt Disney World for not just the rides and characters, but for the special touches that make it so truly special. It is NOT a guidebook or a tool to help you plan your trip, and would be best used in conjunction with a guidebook such as the Unofficial Guide or Passporter. Also, although the book was published in 2009, since Walt Disney World is constantly changing, some things in the book may already be outdated, but there are enough details in the book that can still be found that make it highly worth reading.

I love Disney and have read many books about the creation of the business and parks. This book was a nice addition to my collection.

Good Book For Disney Enthusiasts. - Athletics Turczyn -

Walt Disney Fanatic - Michael A. Parker Jr. - Arlington, Virginia, US
I havent finished reading this book yet, but I can Honestly say that it is a great read. Especially for anyone who admires the devotion and attention to detail that these parks have made. I've worked in the College Program for five months in 2003 at the Magic Kingdom and never knew some of the things that this book reveals. I enjoy reading about the next attraction or the next part of the park with every turn of the page. The author really inspires you to take the time to notice the little things that mean a great deal to special people that made the magic happen in these parks on your very next visit. This book shows greatly how Disney Parks stand out and are much more better themed and much more creative than all the other parks in the world that aren't associated with WDW Corporation. I know for sure that when I do return, this book will be right by my side so that I can see everything that I've never knew that was staring me right in the face. I would definitly recommend this book to anyone who is a big fan of Walt Disney and his group of intelligent and imaginative Imagineers. I would hope to one day become one and live out the same dream as Mr. Disney did!

Ways of the World, Volume II: A Brief Global History Review

The book was exactly as described. It was in good condition and the exact book I thought it would be. It got here pretty quickly too.
